Carers SA have recently won 2 federal grants to exclusively provide carer services across the South Australian metropolitan and regional centres.
I have personally been a member of Carers SA for the past 5 years, they are the most supportive group you could ever wish to have in your corner. They understand carer issues intimately and have many groups and outings you can join in with, targeted at your interests. Carers SA also has a wonderful referral counselling service with counsellors who ‘get it’ – what it is to be a carer. They truly go out of their way to make the lives of carers easier and more manageable.
